If butterflies can be such destructive sons-of-bitches in the thirty minutes it takes to get my teeth cleaned at the dentist’s office, imagine what 52 days of non-stop nervous jitters is going to do to me? I’m hosed. Outside of forced dental torture, I don’t get nervous very often, but I see a glassy-eyed, sleep-deprived Claire in my near future. I’ve already got the bloodshot thing down. And the puffy under-eye bags. I’m only a few sleepless nights away from morphing into a slightly-more-feminine version of Rodney Dangerfield.
