With love, from RT Book Reviews
So…..my editor at MIRA emails me yesterday and tells me that RT Book Reviews, the biggest romance review publication there is, chose to do a review of PUSH for their online publication. AND, they gave it their highest rating – 4.5 stars! In fact, they loved it so much that they asked to publish an exclusive excerpt. The excerpt went live this afternoon. You can read it here, even if you aren’t a RT subscriber. In the meantime, here’s the review:
“With a suspenseful storyline and a cliffhanger ending, PUSH is one of those stories that will not only hook readers but also leave them hanging with lots of unanswered questions. Wallis’s first New Adult title reads more like a psychological thriller along the lines of a Gillian Flynn novel with New Adult elements thrown in. Sure, it has the requisite hot bad boy and loads of steamy scenes, but there are also extraordinary twists and missing pieces revealed, guaranteed to surprise readers. Those looking for a riveting late night story and a rollercoaster ride, look no further than PUSH. Definitely one of the most unique NA books out there!” – Susannah Balch for RT Book Reviews
And, to sweeten life even more, Celeste over at The Book Hookup ran a review of her own. Her enthusiasm about PUSH makes me all gushy inside! Check it out here: http://thebookhookup.com/2014/04/29/push-by-claire-wallis/
My favorite part of Celeste’s review: “Let’s talk romance now…it was hot from the get go, and the love behind the relationship developed second. But don’t let that fool you. It was deep, it was intense, it was sparkling with electricity, but it was oh-so-real. The story itself was pure awesome. While it appeared that the love affair was the front page news, the story in the background also had me turning the pages like it was my job. What’s true? Who do I trust? What are the secrets? I wanna know!”
Release day is Thursday. I can hardly contain my ever-lovin’ self!
